Create an original shirt-graphic concept for [AUDIENCE OR THEME]. Main design: [DESCRIPTION]. Style: [VISUAL TRAITS]. Use a limited palette of [COLORS] that contrasts with a [SHIRT COLOR] garment. Optional exact text: “[TEXT]”. Keep edges clear and avoid copied logos, characters or slogans. Show the artwork separately from a shirt mockup. The final file's transparency, dimensions, color handling and print suitability must be checked against the chosen printer's requirements.
Design for the garment color
A graphic that looks good on a white screen may disappear on a dark shirt. Choose the garment first, then decide how the artwork contrasts with it. Keep tiny details out of an early concept.
Example: a hiking club shirt
Try “An original mountain outline above three simple pine trees, cream and muted orange on a dark-green shirt. Text: Take the Long Way. Broad shapes, no photographic texture.” Compare a version with text and one without it.
Inspect the letter spacing and the narrow gaps between branches. If a line disappears at the intended print size, thicken or simplify it rather than requesting more detail.
Prepare the file for printing
A checkerboard picture is not necessarily a transparent background. Inspect the alpha channel and actual pixel dimensions in an editor. Ask the printer about ink colors, minimum detail and file format before ordering. The prompt creates a concept, not a guaranteed print-ready file, commercial success or permission to use someone else's protected design.
