Match the hook to the ending
The opening creates an expectation. Decide what the viewer will actually see by the end, then write a hook that accurately describes it. An unrelated surprise may attract attention but leaves the tutorial less useful.
Example: repair a loose drawer handle
For a simple demonstration, open with the loose handle, show the suitable screwdriver and tighten the accessible screw. End by checking the handle without over-tightening it. Use footage of the actual fix and mention when a damaged fitting needs a different approach.
Ask for shot notes that show the screw clearly. If the camera cannot capture the detail, revise the filming plan rather than relying on narration alone.
Check the pacing
